Would any one have an idea on how much fluid you need when you change the hydraulic oil for the power steering/radiator fan system? I believe it is Dextron fluid.

I certainly do not know the amount of fluid in that system, but I did put some Dexron III or IV in the tank a few years ago.

Didn't I read here in the Forum that Gerald replaced his Dexron with Transynd a while back?  That would make sense since Transynd is a longer lasting fluid I would guess.

I did my service on my 2000 Beaver Marquis and used Dextron III and used right at 5 gallons.   Tank needs to be filled up to the bottom of the filler neck.  I drained the tank by removing the plug and replaced the filter at the same time.  Should have installed a ball valve to shut off fluid flow if I wanted to change the filter between fluid changes
