Hi,
all When I drive down the road I have a lot of play, have to move the steering wheel left to right to keep it straight.
WHY?
Do I need a steering stabilizer shook installed? Or is there something I can adjust on the steering below to take up the play.
Thanks Again
One day I have her all right and then be able to help others with the same issue.

George,
The play can be caused by a number of things; wear in the steering linkage or wear inside the steering box are the most common. I'd have it checked out by a shop. I wouldn't install any added steering equipement until you get the problem fixed.

If you are going to be anywhere near Henderson’s Lineup shop in Grants Pass, OR, they improved our coach’s handling a lot ;D . I distinctly remember the final test drive was interrupted a couple of times while the tech pulled over on a busy highway west out of town, crawled under the front end, and adjusted the box. As I understand it some coaches have a “TRW” box that can be adjusted and others have a “Sheppard” brand that cannot. As Steve alluded, adding a Safe-T-Plus will help, but may mask an underlying box or other linkage issue that should be addressed first.
Henderson’s isn’t the only outfit that can do that for you, but are arguably the best.
