Title: Rustoleum Top Side Marine paint For Sale
Post by: Bryan Beamon on November 05, 2019, 12:12:03 AM
I have 4 quarts of the gloss white deck paint for $ 8.00 a quart. I recently painted our 43 foot Contessa roof with 2 coats using 3  1/2 quarts. We are in southern California for the winter and traveling  thru Quartzsite in January . Please call me to coordinate a purchase at 813 -394 -4701 if interested. Thanks Bryan

Tell me the main reason you use the product.  Is it to seal it for water? Is it to make it look clean? I wonder why so many are doing this. Thanks.

The gel coat topping on the roofs will slowly decompose with age and sun.  As it decomposes, it leaves an off-white powder covering the roof.  When the coach gets rained on and when cold mornings cause condensation on the roof, the powder will run off the roof with the rain and condensation and will be deposited on the sides of the coach.  The powder leaves off-white streaks on the sides of the coach.  In our case, I have washed the coach one day and the very next day after a rain or cool morning, the sides of the coach will be streaked again... like I had not washed it.

Andrew, Last winter I painted the top of my 06 Patriot Thunder with gloss top deck, no more white streaks down the side and the top looks like new now.

Andrew, another reason I painted our roof was to stop the black mold spots that were developing. Originally I painted only the clear coated front  and rear cap area on the roof sense the clear was was peeling. Subsequently I noticed how easy it was to keep clean with the rustoleum deck paint
