2007 Marquis Rear Taillight Replacement

I am posting this for P.J. Leonard who owns a 2007 Beaver Marquis. He has a broken right rear tail light and cannot locate a replacement part. Does anyone have any suggestions for him?

He is currently trying to get a login for this forum but does not have the login confirmed as yet.

The DOT# on the lens may give him the source vehicle.

Replacements are unavailable, at least thats what I found after much research. The manufacturer in Canada has no plan to manufacture more. I tried multiple salvage yards but apparently they want to sell the entire end cap.
Is he looking for a single lens or the entire assembly? I have some used lens

That’s a great idea Anand.

Low on my list, but I’d like to get rid of the worthless backup lens that’s in the stack and replace it with a second amber lens. I scoured the web and came to the same conclusion as did Paul.

I’ve seen the DIY process used on some of the car restoration shows that I watch, they make it look doable.

Who is the manufacturer?  I’m going to see if they are willing to part with the mold if no one has already.

I have sent a request to Hamsar to see if there is a possibility of making new tail lights. Will post the reply when received. I asked for both the entire assembly and the individual colored lens (red, amber and clear). The individual lens are a pain to replace but it can be done. If anyone have info on replacement availability please post it here.
