LED bulbs burning out
« on: October 19, 2020, 04:22:18 PM »
Our 2005 Beaver Monterey has ceiling mounted fluorescent fixtures (18", 15W T-12). Both fluorescent and LED bulbs burn out rapidly in a couple of those fixtures. Some of the LED bulbs have actually cracked and darkened - I assume with heat. Has anyone else had a similar experience. I am wondering if replacing the ballasts or perhaps a starter would solve the problem. Would welcome all insights.

Time to check for DC volts at your lights-both fluorescents and certainly LEDs should run noticeably cooler than an incandescent bulb.
