Minnesota doesn't have a Las Vegas but New Mexico does. :)

Before the Farmington Rally we stayed at Pendaries RV Park which was a reasonable drive to Las Vegas.  Large spaces with golf course nearby.  You have to be selective if you want satellite.

Checking Google Maps; Farmington NM to Las Vegas NM = 267mi. From same to Las Vegas NV = 497 mi.

We arrived early evening at Storrie Lake SP in Las Vegas NM, and the park gate was closed and locked. We had to 'boondock' outside the gate! Next morning, I had my first Machaca breakfast at a local restaurant; and boy was that good! This was in 2013, BWBTB (before we bought the Beaver).
Pecos National Historic Park is a must see if you are in the area.

Storrie Lake closes the gate at 5pm, not exactly dusk now that we're on DST.
