Chrome lug nut cover

(1/1)

George Frudakis:
Is the chrome lug nut cover standard size that is found at truck stops. Does anyone know what size, my coach is in the shop getting the generator board replaced, and I would like to order them online to help pay for the generator bill. HAHA

Bill Lampkin:
I had to replace one of my hub covers, and yes they are a standard size but you have to know how many 'fingers' there are on the back of the cover. The fingers are what secures the cover to the wheel. I think mine had 5 fingers, but the memory fades.......

Bill Lampkin:
Sorry, I misread 'lug nut cover' as hub cover. Haven't lost a lug nut cover yet!

Eric Maclean:
George
The nut covers are standard truck pieces that push on over the wheel nuts if you pull one off and measure it I think you will find they are 1 1/2 inches .
Your best bet is to take one with you as there are several styles of nut cover some care plastic some are chrome plated and some are stainless steel and the cone shape varies depending on manufacturer the stainless are the best as they don't rust like the chrome ones but they are more money naturally.

Hope this helps
