Windshield fan replacement

(1/1)

Walt Parr:
Looking to replace the 2 windshield 2 speed fans with ones quieter but all I can find a single wire with the 2 speed switch on the fan. My switch is on the dash and I would prefer to keep it this way intead of having to use the switch on the fan itself.
Does anyone know where or part number to get the right style fanns?

Not sure if this is an exact fit, but take a look-

This is the same issue, the speeds/on-off is done by a switch on the fan instead of the dash switches. Maybe I can take the switch out of the fan to get access to the wires needed to wire it to the dash switch.
Thanks!

Bill Lampkin:
You should be able to leave the switch on the fan on 'high', then use the dash switch to switch to 'lo'.

Walt Parr:
AWESOME
Didn't consider that.
Thanks!
