1995 Marquis front axle width?

Hello everyone, a newbie here, and my 1st post so hope I am posting in the right section.

We just purchased a 1995 Marquis trying to get things set up at the house before we go get it tomorrow from the tire shop. We had gravel put down and it should be fine but for added support, we are wanting to have blocks laid down for the wheels to run on until we can get a proper slab poured, but need the wheel widths.  I have tried to search this forum and googling to find the width of the wheels track (axel width) but haven't had any luck... I probably not calling it the right thing.

My 07 may be a bit different but measuring the tire tracks on drive since coach is not here, center to center was 84" and overall  width (outside to outside) was 94".

Why don't you just measure it with a tape measure?  I bought a '95 Marquis in May myself and am working through the issues that I knew about when I bought it and have found since I had it.

I would measure it if it was here .... but it's on the other side of the state at the tire shop in the town where we bought it. We want to have the pad ready before we get home with it, just trying to do some pre-planning.

Just for comparison sake I went out and measured my front tires.  They are 90 3/8 outside to outside, and 71 5/8 inside to inside.  This is for a 1998 Patriot, so different frame and mine is considered a wide body.  Also my tires are 275-70-22.5's.  Hopefully this will at least get you in the ball park with Steve's MH being somewhat wider.

A quick measure of the front is 93" wide and rear at 98".  Looks like roughly a 10 inch and 24 inch wide contact area respectively.  You can look up the wheelbase, I didn't measure that.  It was raining lightly at the time, so I was doing it quickly.

Thank you, that got us pretty close, we added one additional row of blocks to each side just to be safe and worked out great.
