Water control panel
« on: May 15, 2021, 03:23:14 AM »
Hello Beaver fans, we are finally on the road for our maiden voyage ( trip #2 ) . I need some help with my black and gray tanks valves . It’s just became aware to us that the two valves are leaking by . That being the gray and black tanks . When we get home or sooner if I can do the repairs . At the water control panel has anyone had any luck removing the cover to be able to get to the valves I need to replace .
We have a 2000 Beaver Patriot Ticonderoga 37’ 330 caterpillar diesel . Thanks this is something I really need to fix .

Scott
Can you post a picture of the wet wall so we can see your configuration and advise how to get it loose.

     Scott,
If you remove the rear gas strut, and prop the door up with a dead man or stick, after removing the screws you can pull the panel out past the opening just enough to see inside behind it. If you can locate which hoses are restricting you, make labels and take a picture with your phone. I believe your valves are "Valterra" 3" for waste and 1 1/2" for gray water. Use lots of vasoline to hold the new seals to the valve while installing them. Hope this helps, Fred

Best I can offer is, from the forum home page, scroll down to Forum Assistance, and you'll come to a guide to resizing and posting photos.
