Hydraulic fluid filter gauge
« on: September 26, 2021, 10:42:42 PM »
We have a 2006 Monterey with the C9 CAT.  We discovered that we have a leak coming from the hydraulic fluid filter assembly.  It appears to be coming from the gauge which is about 1/3 full of fluid.  Can the gauge be replaced, and assuming that it can, where can I find a replacement?

I finally found my hydraulic fluid reservoir.  The dip stick is registering well below the add mark.  How much do I need to add?

Thank you,
Jon Wells

I believe I have the same model as you, my gauge is completely fogged so I can't even see the indicator plate shown in you photo. I will follow this to see if you get a source for a replacement.
I recently drained off and refilled the fluid to replace seals in the hydro pump solenoid. I can tell you it holds about 4 gallons of ATF. The tank is quite large so it will take quite a bit to raise the level.
I bought a 5 Quart container and transferred it to a smaller one and added it using a funnel.

Good Luck!
