Removal of pocket door

I am in the process of re-laminating the burl overlay on several cabinet doors.  The pocket door leading into the bathroom needs to be removed to effectively do the job.  Does anyone know the trick to remove the door?  I need to be able to clamp  the burl overlay down while adhesive cures.

Gluing down the burl on the fore pocket door isn't too bad but the aft pocket door can be a problem.  Even with the tools I used, much of the aft pocket door is accessible.  The problem arose when I wanted to place clamps on the half of the door that goes deep into the pocket.  With the clamps in place, the door cannot be "pocketed" more than a few inches.  Then you're stuck in the bedroom with the pocket door not able to be opened to let you out... unless you spend a few hours in the bedroom while the glue sets or you crawl out a window... and back in the window after the glue sets.  Because of this, I was unable to glue down the burl on the aft pocket door because at my age I was NOT going to crawl out and back in a bedroom window.
