LP Gas run to new Norcold 1210 refrigerator
« on: April 29, 2025, 07:54:57 PM »
I removed a residential style A/C only refrigerator and reinstalled a new Norcold 1210.  LP gas to that area is currently capped off at the hard pipe just below the refrigerator area.  Can someone advise if the last connection from there up through the floor and to the Norcold was originally a standard yellow flexible gas pipe connection?  Or was this last run some sort of hard pipe connection like copper tubing?  Don't want to complete the run with anything unsafe so I suppose my question is whether it's safe to simply use the flexible type hose for this application?

Ours was copper tubing. Don't think yellow flex is. Or was approved for rvs

copper tubing from the flare fitting and into the refrigerator.  It is only a short run and the refrigerator has very little vibration in that area.  Now would also be a good time to install a 1/4 turn shutoff before the refrigerator for any future service needs.
