roof top air conditioners

i want to change them what is the best and what is the most cfm there are two 15.000 & one 13.000 i would like two have all the same 15.000 time 3 thanks buzz nd what has everyone done

I believe your coach came with Dometic air conditioners. They do not rate them on CFM (cubic feet per minute) They are rated on cooling capacity (BTU) I would replace them with 3- Dometic air conditioners rated at 15,000 BTU each. Replace the current thermostats with the 10 button models. Make sure the technician knows how to program them properly so they "see" each respective zone. You will enjoy your coach in Phoenix AZ in the summertime! Regards, Fred

I don't have first hand knowledge but recently looked this up. There are some videos and comparisons on Monacos where is seems that Houghton and Furrion seem to perform better in the areas of cost, cooling temp, noise of unit, and electric demand over the Penguin II. The new units all replaced an original dometic. Plus it sounds like Az Expert has felt the Dometics quality has declined in the recent years.
