Window Drains

I have some black plastic things attached to the slotted drains (?) under all the windows.  Well, thanks to a vigurous washing, some came unattached and it looks like the hooks (?) are distorted.  I suspect this problems has been around for awlhile as evidenced by black sealant that looks like it was used to reattach several.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, what they're properly called, and where I might find some, I would be greatful for the info.

Thanks.

Dick

They are called "weep hole covers". Beaver coach sales had some a couple of years ago but don't know currently.

My originals were universal meaning one part number fit both the right and left sides of the coach. Now they are redesigned and you must get one for the side you need.

I have been putting a small dab of black RTV (Walmart) on mine as they come off or get replaced. That plus being careful washing with the brushes has worked so far.

Too funny! I washed the coach a couple of days ago and noticed I am missing 6 of the little buggers. So was wondering the same thing Dick!
Thanks Joel :)

Can someone please explain why they build windows with drain holes and then cover them?

I think they are useless and unnecessary. I used to replace the missing ones, but I finally got tired of them constantly falling off, and I now ignore the missing ones. What good are they? I can see no difference whatsoever whether they are there or not.

I have only noticed a difference in driving rain. When the wind is blowing the rain sideways it enters thru the weep holes and then runs over the window frame into the coach. With the covers in place it keeps this from happening.
