Step Will Not Retract

The step on my 2005 Beaver Monterey will not retract.  Does anyone know where the fuse is for the steps.  I would like to check that before I remove the pin switch and run other diagnostics on the step electrical system.

The fuse on my Contessa is in the front electrical panel, but I don't remember what number it is. I just had to replace my controller for my front steps. It's just as easy to check the power by disconnecting the 4 prong connector under the steps and checking for 12volt. I could actually hear the connection being made in the brain, but it didn't make the steps move. another thing to check is the magnetic switch in the door frame. It should have continuity when the door is closed.

I had the same problem on my last rig which was a 02 Escaper but if it is a Kiewee[not spelled right]?????? step and it would not retrack and a service man told me to reverse the wire connector between the motor and the arm [should be a 2 wire connection] and it would retract it and mind did. He also told me that with age the linkage wears out and I replaced the pin from the arm that works the arm back and forth and tthat fixed my problem. Hope this is our problem and gets it done. {JUST KEEP FINGERS AND ARMS CLEAR OF MOVEMENT}
