I was having a problem applying enough brake pressure to full stop the coach, when backing up, particulairly on a slight hill or hold it at a stop light. I phoned CAT to see if they could lower the idle RPM from 750 to 600, and they said they could, if I checked with Allison to see if that was okay. Allison said we could go down to 600, so thats what we did. It made a big improvement in the ability to stop the coach and hold it in most situations. Not 100%, but a big improvement.
