The Roadmaster recall is for their R4R and RR4R chassis, I believe, and that recall will affect some Beaver (Monaco-built with Roadmaster chassis) models and years. Thanks for posting the link; the latest issue of FMCA's magazine in the mail now has the information.
It is not a "recall" in the normal sense, since Monaco won't pay for the necessary repair, but for all our safety, owners of affected rigs should contact the third party company in Elgin, OR, that makes the retrofit trailing arms and arrange for a fix; owners will have to pony up the cost. If needed, repairs can be made at service centers around the country.
Apparently some cracked trailing arms were "repaired" in a prior fix, but that repair has been since deemed inadequate. So even if affected owners think they have dealt with the problem already, they are wrong, and need to install the heavier duty trailing arms to be truly safe. Improved ride and handling may be a side benefit as well.
