Aladdin question

So on my way home the aladdin display vanished from my Kenwood flip up monitor; the other functions of the Kenwood are working. The monitor in the bedroom has the aladdin screen up and running so i know (?) that the aladdin is working.

I suspect there may be a glitch between the aladdin and the Kenwood monitor - trying to decipher all the wires under the dash and thinking of maybe switching the line that goes to the bedroom to the front Kenwood if it is possible. I reset the Aladdin but no difference.

I was caught in a couple of pretty strong thunderstorms in marble falls tx yesterday so  something could have blipped it out even though the SurgeGuard . It feels like I am running blind without it running as I can't check engine (have gauges and digital display of temp, boost, fuel level percent oil pressure), cameras, electrical etc.

Fishing for any ideas. Not impossible to drive,  just odd.

Forgive my lack of a complete answer here Jeff, but I don't have a Kenwood.  I do seem to recall a discussion here some time ago regarding issues involving Kenwood and the Alladin, though, so if no direct response is forthcoming from someone, you might try a search of the Forum.

We had the same thing happen on our 2003 Marquis. We opened the panel above the drivers window and discovered once of the wires had come off. We had Dan at Beaver coaches inBend put the screw on toy of connectors rather than the push on that the coach came with
