I am looking for info. on the mfg. and access to replace my 6 way power seat units on my '97 Marquis.  Does any one know what brand and where Beaver got them, also the
switches.  They look like '96-97 Cad/GM
Thanks, Max      donnaandmax1@msn.com

Hello Max, I posted this message about a year ago but I think this will give you some options

If you have any wear then you may as well do the whole seat over that will be very expensive. You do have some savings in doing just the welt trim.

My guess is that you can buy new seats for a lower cost then doing the full reupholster on the 2 front seats if you do one then do both.

If you do the repair only the back will come off the unit assembly and the seat fabric can be taken off the seat  it will then need to be cut apart the trim welt is between the seat top and the sides it's a job that can best be done in a auto trim shop.

I would guess $3-400. dollars/ seat and should be a 6-8 hour job.

FYI  you can buy a new seat Flexsteel at Camperworld for $500-800
You may like to visit the flexsteel site here is a link they may have been the OEM doing the seats

We are recovering the seats in our 1997 Patriot for $900 each with an Ultraleather type product. We found new captains chairs wold cost over $2000 each when you add in the bases and power adjustment. Our passenger seat had a weak motor for the power footrest and the new motor is $32. Also recovering our jackknife couch with the same material and new foaming for $1750 compared to a new one for $3200. We did replace the. Recliner with an Ekonis Stressless Euro Chair and Stool.

We are picking it up this week I hope.

there are a few aftermarket seat companies that can replace the seats with new but for a high end seat its gonna be 1000$ or more each

the qualitex ones look nice and have a/c blower motors to keep you cool while driving or sitting

i was looking for seats for my pickup before but most of these rv seats are just generic seats on a power pedistol
