Extended warrantee

(1/2) > >>

Ron Langdon:
I am looking for a reliable extended warrantee provider. I found lots of discussion about emergency service/roadside assistance providers but nothing on extended warrantee. Anyone have any suggestions? Does Overland, for example sell extended warrantee ? If so what's their record? Thanks

Steve Huber:
I got First Extended Service transferred from the PO when I purchased the coach in May. I've used them twice for AC repairs (house and dash) in the past 2 weeks with no apparent problems per the repair facilities.

Ron Langdon:
Hi, Steve. Thanks for the email. However First Extended is the reason I am looking for a new provider. In June they honored a request for a cooling unit replacement in our refrig. In July I needed roadside support and they couldn't find my name in their data base. Finally on a cash basis they gave me the number of a tow company. I called the company ( precision Towing)and the guy said he wasn't going to come out. This was around 1pm. So, I m. Looking for another provider .
If you are also using them for roadside, you might want to check to be sure you are in their db.

Ron I used the following company.  Jeff Shelton is the owner they gave me several companies to choose from and explained all the coverages and advantages.  I have seen many positive comments about them on other forums.

I went with Performance Care Elite Level but I have not had a claim yet.  I use coachnet.com for my roadside service.

Ron, I cancelled my Good Sam Warranty (or service plan) earlier this year because of an issue they did not want to cover. I am currently with WholeSale Warranties. You might give them a call to see what they have to offer. I have a $200 deductible. Good Sam was $500.
If you call, ask for Jeff. He is the owner. They have several options from several companies. Their price was a bit less that Good Sam, over 3 years. They offer warranties on 1999 and newer models.

No need for a claim yet so I can't talk about how they perform..............that's a good thing!

I met Jeff at their booth at the FMCA gig in Gillette, Wy. last month.
