Thank you Gerald and Peter...

I stopped Gerald at Hilton Head to seek advice on my dash air.

It has not been working well!  I was less concerned about staying cool than keeping the fog off the windshield when using the defroster.   During the last day driving to Hilton Head we were in hard rain all day and fighting windshield fog!

My question to Gerald was how to find a good motorhome A/C specialist on the road.  His suggestion was to buy a $10 can of 134a refrigerant at Wal-Mart.  It was $11 and on the bottom shelf.

I had previously bought a top shelf kit with gauge for $40 from Autozone.   In Dillard, Peter Bradish helped me put the Wal-Mart can in.  The primary "trick" is to squeeze the trigger only when the compressor is running.  In my case the inlet is in the front, so Peter watched the compressor for me.

Yesterday was the first day of driving in warm weather.  Before the can of 134a I could only feel slight cooling.  Yesterday I got a 22 degree differential!

Thank you Gerald for the advice and Peter for the assistance!
