2002 Patriot Thunder - Manuals/schematics for Suspension and Leveling needed

--- Quote from: LaMonte Monnell on August 05, 2015, 04:37:47 PM ---Robert, I have a 2001 Beaver Contessa that had the SMC IDS jacks when I bought it. I had a left rear jack with an internal leak.
Couldn't find anyone that rebuilds these a year ago but heard that BCS does now. I bit the bullet and drove to HWH in Moscow, Iowa last July 2014 and had the hyd jacks removed and lines capped. The control panel was removed and replaced with an HWH panel that they built and tied into the airbags for leveling with air only.
After messing with the SMC system for over a year and the labor costs I decided the $4900 I spent for this conversion was not so bad. Levels in a matter of seconds now, and adjusts to travel mode with a button push.
I have two jacks that are still good, an IDS control panel, and two solenoids sitting in my shed if you ever need parts. I sold one jack to Les Brandt for his coach!
Good luck with your repairs!

Thanks for the information on the conversion. The HWH update sounds awesome. Would LOVE that in our coach. Thanks for the parts offer! To Ed's point, I think I'll go the way of the manual leveler for now so I'm glad to stand aside to accommodate Ed's interest in the control panel. I would like to discuss the two jacks. I'll send you PM on the matter.
Thanks!
