My brake lights don't work, yet I have working tail lights, flashers and 4 ways.
My 2000 Marquis Amethyst has a brake light switch..
Anyone know the part number?? I am guessing this is the culprit.

I'd think BCS parts could supply it, but I'd want to check the fuse or breaker first, and that both lamps are good and have clean contacts and holders. Moisture behind the lenses and resulting corrosion is common.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago and it turned out to be a fuse in the electrical bay. It was hard to identify and I had to check each fuse.

I just replaced both brake light switches on my 97 marquis. I got my switches from Peterbilt
Part#111P/RBE13250
Hope that helps

Behind the front cap access panel. Directly in front of the pedal assembly on a bracket with air lines running to it.
