KEYLESS ENTRY
« on: May 23, 2016, 10:56:39 PM »
I have been having problems with the keyless entry not always working. The key fobs work ok but the number pad is hit or miss, even after resetting the controller and reprograming it. So I changed the controller (TriMark 22310-01) and now the number pad works ok but the fobs do not. I think I need to re-sync the fobs to the new controller but I do not know how. Can anyone help.

Thanks

We have 'remote entry' which is keyless entry without the key pad.  We have problems with it every year because the transmitter / reciever is in the electric bay.  Once the remote would not work and when I opened the bay door it seemed to resink automaticaly.  Most often the problem is solved by a wire brush on the brass contacts by the entry door hinge.

An update on the keyless entry problem I posted about, the need controller worked fine for a couple of days and then started to act like the origional sometimes it works at the door handle key pad a some times it do not. The fob works all the time. Anyone with any ideas?
