Jerry Emert:
Again!  I installed the relay fix and headlights got noticeably brighter.  Now I can see that there are lights on at night but not much more than that.  I try not to drive at night but "you know what" happens!  I've seen references on the forum to LED headlights.  Does anyone have a trusted source?  I generally steer away from Ebay but I am willing if need be.  My 2003 Pat Thunder should take the 1999 Navigator but I would appreciate a confirmation.  The coach is not available right now.  It's in the body shop paying for me not being able to see the road at night with pale yellow headlights!  Thanks.

Steve Huber:
Jerry,
If you are getting battery voltage to your headlghts, the cause of poor driving light is probably one of these; foggy lenses, incorrectly aimed headlights or weak bulbs.

Jerry Emert:
They are a little foggy but the color is yellow.  I can turn my brights on and they don't bother oncoming traffic a bit!   Even the driving lights are yellow, brighter than the headlights but still dim.  You may be right, though, which is why I wanted to make sure of the 1999 Navigator headlights for my 03 so I can change them out.  I will probably put LED's in at the same time.  Thanks

Rodney Luker:
I tried brighter bulbs with no help.
Then I installed seamens HID kit that makes a lot of light but it is blotchy / bad pattern.
I have aimed the lights & the lens is clear.
I think the problem is the reflectors in the housing is just  pour quality.
I have considered getting housings from lincoln to see if that helps.
It was less costly to change the driving light to vision X leds with a changeable lens cover for various patterns

LaMonte Monnell:
I did the headlight fix by adding the relays and bought new headlights.

The update has changed the brightness of mine a  huge amount.

I may be able to even drive at night, even though as a rule I try to avoid it if I can.
