Removing Fantastic Fan Screens

Hi All,
Is there a trick to removing the screens on the fans. I noticed a small indentation where you can get your finger underneath, I just did not want to break them. These are the basic manual fans.

No trick, just pull where the finger thingy is. Then go around the screen and carefully pull the rest of the mounting  'legs' out, one at a time. Kinda scary at first....
