Technical Support / Re: Power steering and Fan Hydraulics

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. I found it when we were pulling into a camp ground in North Plat NB. When they ran the hydraulic hoses they simply zip tied them together over time they rubbed against each other and caused a leak. Had new hoses made. When I installed them I wrapped any place they came into contact with each other With heater hose and zip tied them together tightly. I did the same to any hose that came into contact with any thing else by wrapping heater hose around the hydraulic hose. It has worked for me so far. Safe travels everyone.

RV Glass Boss.  I believe they are in Gilbert AZ.  They come to most of the FMCA and a few BAC rallies.  They redid our windows though another place had redone them before and the seals were bad already.  Eight years and no seal creep now.

Gene
Perhaps they might consider a sponsorship of BAC since there are so many members in the PNW?  Can’t hurt to ask?

If this isn't it you should be able to find manual on cummins website.

I'm also considering replacing my bent up mudflap.

I'm considering Duraflap https://duraflap.com/product-category/motorhome-mud-flaps-and-rv-mudflaps/ . They have multiple dealers and I'm working with folks in Monroe, WA since I'm just up the road 10mi from them.

Here's a BAC string on the topic if you haven't seen it: http://beaveramb.org/forum/index.php?topic=2810.0

Robert
If your getting a grind noise when cranking you may have a sticking starter inertia drive which is not engaging the ring gear properly
By simply removing the starter inspecting for rust or  dirt buildup on the starter shaft or drive parts and cleaning and lubricating you may cure the problem.
