On the first stop of our first big trip (Seattle area to Oshkosh for Air Venture). We are hooked up to city water but can’t get any pressure from the cold side kitchen sink faucet. It works normal when I turn the pump on. All the other cold side faucets have normal pressure on city water. Also the water pressure in the coach is very weak when hooked up to city water.

How about the cold and hot in the shower? Do you have the tank fill switch in the correct position? Have you checked the filters and screens? Has someone been turning the ON/OFF valves on the water manifold?

Dave raises a good point, most common issue is after filling your water tank, you forget to turn the fresh water fill switch or the aerators screens at the faucet output are clogged. Fred

Just a suggestion; consider always running off the internal tank. Use shore water only to fill it. Advantages include constant good pressure and notification of a leak due to pump running when no demand. Also easy to turn off water when leaving coach. Try to fill when park is on city vs well water to get good quality water with additives to keep water from growing algae, etc. if coach stored for extended time.

Thanks for the reply’s and suggestions. The 2 lav’s and the shower have equal pressure using either hot or cold. The kitchen sink has more pressure on the hot side than the cold. When using the pump, the cold side has more pressure than it does using city water but it’s still lower than the warm side.
The entire water system has lower pressure than I think it should. I have replaced the main water supply filter and the ice maker filter. I just discovered the filter under the kitchen sink and will replace it as soon as I can.
I’m puzzled because it wasn’t acting this way the last time we used it

If your coach is from an area with hard water or heavy sediments ( like the south west) you may have a build up of sediments causing your lower water pressure on some of your plumbing runs.
My suggestion would be to disconnect the effected runs at both ends and blow compressed air through them to see what you get.
Also check the faucets for plugged screens or even the faucet valves themselves may have blockages.
You could also try vinegar in the lines to try and break down any hard water scale.

Change the filter under the kitchen sink, Fred

I was finally able to change the filter under the sink and I cleaned the aerators also. That fixed it.
