Thanks for the input, David. I called Beaver Coach Sales and they do have brake pads. However, they need to know what style rotor I have. Apparently the Patriot thunder had two different styles or rotors. One of the styles is a Bendix rotor, but I can’t remember what the other style was. Does anybody know what style rotor was primarily used on a 2002 patriot thunder?

I no longer have access to Coach Assist. I thought I had loaded my Bose manuals into Coach Assist but don't see a heading for them now ??? In any case I have the following in electronic format;
 
 -Bose Home Theater Wiring Distribution (Beaver document)
   -Bose Service Center Customer Support Info
   -Bose Lifestyle Model 20 + CD Service Manual
   -Bose Lifestyle Model 20 +CD Parts and Service Manual

If you can't locate them on Coach Assist when logged in and want them added, let me know and I'll see if I can get someone to load them to Coach Assist.

Hayden, I don’t know if you ever resolved your PCB issue.  I regularly go into a circuit board searching for a faulty component, and have “fancy” tools, like LCR tweezers.  But an essential tremor confounds many of my soldering escapades with minuscule solder points.  And I’m minimally conversant in electronics despite multiple books on the subject.

I know this is late to the party, but if I couldn’t ferret out a problem with a board from our coach, I’d consider sending it to M&M, or at least consulting them:

Been there, done that with scanner issues.  I’ve sent things to Steve when he was full administrator, and would guess it’d be Eric now.  But Steve’s job was divvied up between multiple members recently, and I’m not sure which of them that this mission would involve.  With patience, the question will be answered here before long. 😉

I will be happy to mail them to someone, just need a name and address to send them to.  I did e-mail scanned copies over, but unfortunately my scanner could only do on sided so they were sent as even and odd pages instead of chronological.   

My scanner that I used when working would have done a better job.

I have my coach in the shop now. The shop said that my rear passenger side brake pads are gone but the other side looks practically new. If memory serves me right, I believe the brake pads are Meritor brakes requiring a special grease. Can you even get these pads anymore? What options do I have to replace these pads?

 Eric or Steve should be able to help with getting your manuals into Coach Assist.  Its instructions ask they be submitted in PDF format. 

I’ve sent collected Beaver brochures snail mail in the past, and had Office Depot copy manuals that I wanted to keep the originals of, like our main Beaver Owners Manual or the Wiring Diagram book.  I even had them laminate the front and back covers of my spiral main manual to mitigate further wear of it.  Office Depot can put their scans on a disk or thumb drive that you can mail to a designated Forum administrator.  The O.Depot service cost may be reduced by using your FRVA (formerly FMCA) member discount, is reasonable, and saves expense and hassle at the Club’s end.

In your case, since you don’t actually need the Bose manuals anymore, in lieu of tossing them I reckon I’d just put them in a Manila envelope and mail them.  Chuck can then glean and/or copy them from Coach Assist;  or to help him a tad more quickly you could have hard copies, or a disk or thumb drive made, and sent to both him and the Club.

Hi Chuck, if you are still looking for information on how your Bose Lifestyle 20 System works, let me know. I’ve already been down this road several years ago. I have a 2000 Beaver Patriot Ticonderoga with the factory installed Bose Invisa-Built Lifestyle 20 system, which I eventually mostly removed, but it included the Bose Lifestyle 20 home entertainment system with 6-CD changer, 3- or 4 cube speakers up front, and two rear Bose ceiling speakers in the kitchen, along with the 2-zone remote (which didn’t have zones). Invisa-Built meant that there is a very large amplifier located behind one of the cabinets. Mine was right behind the front passenger seat, overhead, behind a screwed in wood panel. “Everything” that makes sound (except the Wave radio), goes thru the Invisa-Built amplifier. The Lifestyle stereo, the Bose dash radio, the front TV, the DVD Player, all go thru the Invisa-Built amplifier, which by the way, you cannot buy at a Bose store ( I tried). The 2 zone remote does not control the wave radio in the bedroom, so don’t waste your time with that. Bose only sold the invisa-built system thru high end custom integrators, and not thru any retail markets. If the system is still original, it relied on “timing” by the end user in the sequence of how you used it. If yo want to watch tv in surround sound, you can with the tv & Lifestyle20. However, if you then want to switch to the CD player, it required you to turn off the tv for at least 5 seconds before you could change the inputs. Additionally, you also could not turn on your Bose dash radio without turning on either the inverter, or the gererator, because your dash radio also is wired thru the invisa-Built amplifier, and by default requires 110vac power just to run your dash radio. Needless to say, I have since corrected this issue.
I know I came into this conversation late. I don’t usually respond to posts, but this one, I’m pretty heavily involved in from a lot of trial and error (mostly errors). You can’t buy this system any more. You would be a lot better off ripping the whole thing out, and starting over, with current electronics that aren’t 25 years old. That’s what I did.
