Title: Cabinet Veneer Repair Article
Post by: Steve Huber Co-Admin on September 29, 2020, 11:54:45 PM: I just added an article written by Ed Buker on how to repair lifted veneer on cabinetry doors. This was/is a very common problem on Patriots and Marquis models especially. The article can be found in Common Problems. Access is via the Private BAC Members board. Note; this article was previously published on Common Problems but was lost when it "expired". I've since "fixed" that issue.

One of our pocket doors is badly damaged so we will either need to take off the veneer and refinish the door or find new veneer.

However, since the "milkiness" appearance is endemic to them, chances are you may not find what you are looking for, but it's worth a shot. A few members have removed the panels and finished the panel in the natural color.
