Good day. I was looking at a coach and it had a pedal on the left side of the steering column. The owner was uncertain what it was for? the coach had exhaust brake switch on the side panel like my 06. Here is a picture of the switch. Does anyone else have anything similar or know what it's for?

The use of electral lamp cord for wiring tells me that the switch was added by a previous owner.
My guess would be he has added either a foot operated horn switch or a headlight interrupt switch to signal passing trucks it's safe to pull in.
I'd look down in the electrical bay for those brown wires to see if ghey are connected into something there
Good luck

Jimmy,
I would check to see if he piggy backed the exhaust brake to that switch. It is obviously a add on. What ever it is I would rewire it with the proper wire. You will have to follow the wire to find what it goes to. I as sure it probably doesn't go very far, but being able to see where it goes can be challenging. Goodluck on your hunt.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the input. Will let you all know.

So for follow up it is a foot switch for the exhaust brake. So instead of having to press the toggle switch you can just use your foot to activate. Thanks all
