Title: leaking Hydraulic oil
Post by: CYRIL TAMMADGE on June 10, 2011, 07:47:03 PM
I have a 2006 42 ft Marquis and the rear passenger side hydraulic tank, for the power steering, is leaking. It appears that the stone guard is welded to the tank support frame and that the tank has to be support independently of the support frame in order to remove the stone guard and get access the bottom of the tank and the hose attachments.  Does anyone have any helpful experience or suggestion on how to handle this problem.

Cyril, Did you check the return hose where it connects to the tank. We have seem a few with 5/8" hose connected to a 1/2" fitting on tank. We fixed them with a short piece of 1/2" hose and a 1/2" to 5/8" adapter from the plumbing supply house.

  Good Luck
