The front run bay listing of fuses and location says "entry step--p s dash" which I take to mean passenger side dash.
Can anyone give me directions on where exactly it may be and how do you get to it as there is not much access on the passenger side dash.
I have looked at the Kiwkee step instructions on the forum and it only shows a fuse between the battery and the steps and is not specific to a location.
Any help would be appreciated.

Anything’s possible, but your steps probably only use circuit breakers rather than “a fuse”. Because it’s tied to the ignition for safety, there are three breakers involved, at least on our coach. One depends on the ignition being on and two do not; of those two, one ties to the switch by the door (probably your passenger-side dash designation). That said, it’s possible an actual fuse is on the back of the switch itself.
Your coach is a different model and year, so use my legend below only as a general guide. On mine breakers CB15 and CB16 (switch) are near the top of hot buss 1 on the left, and CB37 at its bottom depends on the ignition. If all the CB connections are tight with no corrosion resistance, it likely means a short at the step motor or a mechanical jam is cycling a breaker. Your troubleshooting should involve sorting that out... even if there is a fuse behind the switch or elsewhere, something would have caused it to blow.
Others here with a more similar coach to yours may jump in with better info.

Art,
Does your coach have the Kongsberg chassis control module (CCM)? If so, I’m pretty sure that the step functionality is controlled by the multiplex module. The fuse should in the front run bay, on the printed circuit board above the CCM.

Art,
The step fuse should be on board 9 in the front run box. It should be F9 (5a). In Coach Assist access the 2008/09 Patriot-Marquis wiring diagram. The layout is shown on pg 138 of 193.

If your coach does not have the Chassis Control Module there is a second step fuse (20-amp) in the rear run box, board #4, fuse #1. See 2008/09 Patriot-Marquis wiring diagram page 151.

Thank everyone for the responses. I found a 30 amp fuse behind the control module cover labelled "step cont" that was bad. Steps are now working!!!
I am attaching photos for future reference. Please notice that in the run bay the step fuse is listed as "hidden fuse"
Again, I really appreciate the responses---this was a headscratcher.

Art,
Glad you found it. I was concerned that the info I supplied might not be 100% accurate as that specific diagram listed the majority of high end Monaco built coaches but not Marquis, even though other diagrams in the set did include Marquis. This is why we ask owners who have sets of diagrams that are specific to their coaches to consider supplying the Forum with a pdf set. Accurate diagrams can save us all a lot of headaches.
