We picked up our new-to-us 2007 Marquis a couple of days ago and noticed a problem with power to the toad vehicle. We are now stopped in Las Vegas on our way home and called a tech out to troubleshoot the problem. He finally managed to fix that issue, but in the process we have lost the brake lights on the coach. If anyone has any ideas we are accepting any and all suggestions because this tech is all out of ideas. All fuses have been checked/replaced.

Laurence,
It's kind of difficult to guess what the problem could be w/o knowing what the tech did to "fix" the problem with the toad (or what the initial problem was). We don't have 07 Marquis diagrams in Coach Assist but the 07 Contessa prints show RL19 as the brake light relay and F81 as the fuse supplying power.
The 08 Marquis drawing shows K4 as the relay.

When I lost my brake lights the fix was right under my foot! The small screw that held the brake wire to the sender had come loose. Tightened it down and everything has been good for over a year now. Maybe you will get that lucky also.

Friends in the 07 Marquis had this same problem last summer.
Did you find the red 15 amp spade fuse on the main board in the front run bay? (that is the bay with the electrical under the driver). I know you ran the fuses but this one is oddly placed on the extreeme lower right of the main board.
If your tech shorted something even briefly, that seems to be the first thing to go and it effects the brake lights.
Hope this helps.
