Title: Hydro-Hot Doesn't Work After Service
Post by: Jill Goldman on April 02, 2021, 07:48:38 PM
Some assistance please. It's Good Friday and I can't contact Aqua Hot or the mechanic who tuned up the Hydro-Hot in my 2003 Patriot last week. I just settled into a campground in Casa Grande, AZ, flipped the diesel switch to heat up water this morning and it sounded like it was starting, but then stopped. It seems the burner did not ignite (just a guess). I attempted the electric with no luck (and checked the circuit breaker). The glycol overflow is at the proper level. I checked the troubleshooting page, but with limited knowledge nothing clicked for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jill Goldman

Could be cover switch not closed. Could be a loose wire or bad level sensor.  Check connectivity between #15 and #16.

Jill ,attached photo shows how to reset your Hydrohot. See low voltage reset. This might be your issue.

Thanks for your responses. Looks like I'll have to get someone to service. I opened the unit looked around (like I do when my car doesn't run) and nothing looked out of place. The only lights that are lit are the stir pump and the diesel one. I couldn't get the cover off of the electric panel because two of the screws are stripped. I'll be calling for service.
