Title: Side docking lamp for 1999 Patriot
Post by: JimCasazze on July 18, 2011, 02:57:58 PM
I noticed the docking lamp outside my kitchen slide was out (melted nicely) and I have spent hours looking on the internet to identify it or a replacment for it.  It appears to be approximately 4" in diameter and a sealed beam that screws into a black housing with a coach-color matched trim ring.  None of these parts have any real idenifying marks.  The Housing also seemed to be foam sealed into place, rather than bracket mounted.  Don't know if this is factory work or someone else's handiwork.

Can anyone advise on this bulb/housing/mounting?

Thanks
Jim

Jim,

I have the same light on my slide and looked all over the internet and rv salvage yards no one seems to know who made it or where to get a exact replacement.

Have either of you tried contacting Bend Beaver Coach for information?

No luck there.  Company (was) in FL but out of biz, so looks like creative fabrication may be needed
