Title: mysterious black box?

hello forum,   i came across a solid black box located at the left lower side of my sofa. this coach continues to intrigue me. I've owed it now for a year and a half and just now discovered this.  what in the world is it!! just when i think im getting a handle about this motor home i find this. the coach is a marquis tourmaline 2000.  thanks mike

No wires, so not a speaker?

Is the box fastened in place or loosely sitting there?

Solid, meaning no exterior holes, so not a mousetrap?

How large is this box?  Does it rattle when you shake it?

I think it is the Bose bass speaker. That is where they were located if I remember correctly.

  It is the sub-woofer for the Bose Lifestyle II system. Fred
