We have a 2007 Marquis. Our entry step failed and although our service guys are able to weld the joint but are missing a ball-bearing strip. Any ideas where we might be able to find a replacement strip or new step?

Lippert manual is in Coach Assist. There number is 866-524-7821 per the manual.

Mitch,
I believe the step you have uses heavy duty ball bearing drawer guides. I think they are rated for 200 pounds and are made by Accuride or Knape-Vogt. You will have to buy at least 1 set. I believe it takes a total of 2 pair. You will also have to drill out the rivets. The guides are not engineered to come apart so perhaps the best approach may be to replace both pair. Hope this helps, Fred

Fred, Thank you for the info. After talking with Mike at Beaver Coach sales we went with the Kwikee 42 series step. This is the only replacement for that step unit. There is a 2 inch gap on both sides that we will have modified. The mounts had to be pulled off the old unit to make it work but it's now finished and looks good. I will try and update with pictures this week.
Thanks for all the advice and stay safe!
