When parked with shore power My kitchen slide always creeps out a couple of inches when not extended. Is there a way to prevent this.

My retracted curb-side living room slide also creeps out an inch. My living room slides are hydraulic. My understanding is when the slides are retracted, the continued hydraulic pressure is what keeps the slides fully retracted. If there is even a small leak that allows the hydraulic pressure to subside, then the slide becomes free to "relax" and move slightly.

As David pointed out they are kept in place by hydraulic pressure and as the pressure bleed off they can relax and move .
The root of the problem is the pressure bleed off .
The first place I'd look for any external leaks ( hoses connections or cylinder seals) next is at the O rings on the control valve cartridge for that slide or maybe even the valve cartridge itself.
You should be able to swap one of the other cartridges out for the effected slide circuit cartridge and see if you problem moves with the swaped cartridge.
You may also want to inspect the check valve .

Hope this helps

In the coach assist section of the forum there is an HWH manual for the 310 room extension system if you go to troubleshooting section part 6 it gives you a full troubleshooting procedure for your problem.

Mine creeps occasionally, but it resolves by pressing extend for an inch or two, then back in. Hold the switch for half a second after it’s in but not long enough to hear the pump “scream”. If there’s a small piece of debris interfering with a solenoid O-ring’ seal, this brief operation can blow it clear.
But if you have a damaged O-ring or debris that’s jammed in there, you may need a new solenoid. At one point HWH recommended replacing both the “in” and the “out” solenoids together for balance, but many now just replace the problem one. Some have successfully dismantled solenoids and changed the O-rings.

Just FYI
HWH is behind on parts delivery. Our parts may be available in 3 to 4 months but no guaranty.
