Title: Aqua hot issue, new one this time.
Post by: LaMonte Monnell on September 04, 2021, 01:25:44 AM
My Aqua hot in my 2001 contessa is having an issue after the water reaches temp, cycles thru shut down procedure and keeps cycling without turning off. Just started this recently as it’s working super otherwise.
I have to turn the switch off and then remove the hot feed to control panel outside to shut down.
I looked in my troubleshooting steps but don’t see this addressed anywhere.

Where would I begin to look?

Believe I would ask Aqua Hot tech on this.

Lamonte, we had to replace our controller which was attached to the diesel burner to fix our unit based upon similar symptoms you are experiencing.

Lamont,
In the Aqua hot manual is a description on how to test the controller.  It varies some with differing models I believe but requires pulling the smaller connector and jumping across a couple different pins.  Might eliminate the controller as part of the issue or confirm it.
