Title: oil pressure gauge
Post by: Connie Greenidge on October 23, 2021, 03:43:48 AM
QUESTION:  1997 Beaver Monteray,  magnum chassis 3126B 6 speed Allison

Oil pressure gauge in rear service area slowly died and finally quit.  Dash oil pressure works fine. Is there two senders?  There is about 9.50 volts to rear gauge when ignation  is turned on.  It has amagnum inteldrive system  [Silverleaf type] that has not worked properly in the eight years thar I have owned it, so no help there.

The oil pressure senders on your coach are mounted on a tee which is located on the lower frame rail almost directly behind the service bay .
The two senders are one for the dash gauge and one for the service bay  yours unlike mine will only have a single signal wire the sender is a grounding device and you should be able to check the gauge operation by simply applying a ground and watching the gauge react.
