I have spent the last year making my 2002 Marquis close to perfect and now my other half wants to upgrade to a 2008 Marquis. We are getting closer to retirement and she feels this is a better fit.
It has the C15 with 600 HP and a slightly larger body. Is there anything I should be aware of making this change? My current C!2 has been bulletproof. Is the C15 about the same? Any other common issues?

Al,
C-15 mileage is at best 6-6.5MPG. Also twin turbo vs the C-12 single turbo. I would be more concerned with the Kongsberg Chassis Control Module system. Currently there is no support for the module. Do some research on the system, on some of the other forums, then you can make an informed decision. It’s a beautiful coach, good luck. The Monacoers forum has lots of info for the Kongsberg CCM.

Make sure the C15 engine is not 2007+ year (engine serial number starting with "SDP" know as a "regen engine") as that is when CAT added the ARD head and DPF, which were very problematic and expensive to fix. (Just Google ARD head failures).
The Coach being a 2008 may have a 2006 engine in it. You need to look a the engine data plate to know.

Al, to give additional information can you give me the Serial number of the Caterpillar C-15 engine.
I can pull up additional information off Caterpillar SIS on problems and recalls. The C-15 has been a
proven engine both on and off road. Technical Bulletins etc. will spell out what if any real problems
exist. The point in question yes all engine at some time have upgrades but the C-15 again has a
