Title: Tri Mark door control board location
Post by: Paul Aronson on November 22, 2021, 09:50:23 PM
I have a 2007 Patriot Thunder and want to change the door open/lock code.
Does anybody know physically where the control board is located? It is NOT behind the passenger side cabinet next to the seat. I have the instructions but need to jumper two pins together and need to locate the control board.

My programming button is behind access panel below magazine rack. See pic.

For programming the FOB there black box under the dash... sitting in drivers seat there's a black box with bundle of wires (+switch + LED) mounted under and to the left of the instrument cluster (on the sidewall to the left of my left foot). I accessed this when programming some extra FOB's.

These various posts always motivate me to tackle something on my  todo list. My coach has had default factory code since I purchased and probably since it was new. I finally changed it today :)

Here's a picture of the module under the dash for programming FOBs.

Not sure that is the controller you are looking for, but on our 06 PT it is mounted on the back wall of the front run bay. I believe that it is for the Key FOBs (as Gene referenced).

OP said he want to change door lock "code" so that would not be the "black box" controller the above posts are showing. The key FOB controller is different from the door keypad controller.

Do you have the Grab Handle style with the built-in keypad?
If so, the controller is built into the handle. You need to access the wiring (there would be a removable panel on the inside of coach) and there will be a single wire (yellow) that is not connected to anything that needs to be grounded - or the factory could have installed a momentary push button to connect the yellow to ground). That wire needs to be grounded to put the keypad in program mode.

If you don't have the Grab Handle style - forget what I said above
