Title: Circuit Board Repairs/Salvage Yard Electronics
Post by: Don White on September 09, 2022, 07:26:59 PM
Hi,

Can anyone recommend a business that repairs circuit boards built in the last 10 years or so?  The TV lift in my coach is acting erratically, doesn't come down reliably, always retracts without an issue.  I believe I have traced the problem to the control unit.  The manufacturer of my unit, Liftmytv, does not appear to be in business anymore so buying a new replacement controller does not appear to be an option.

Also has anyone had a positive experience buying used electronics, TV lift controllers, Aladdin modules, etc., from a salvage yard?

Thanks,

Don

Had to replace my aladdin 'tank level' board. Dealer got a used one and its still working fine 6 yrs later.
I just had my Garmin gps repaired by a guy, Palm Dr. Great job and quick service, might be worth a search and phone call.

Several years back our TV Lift started working erratically... especially when lifting the TV up.  I removed the toggle switch and touched the wires together which lifted and dropped the TV everytime I touched the wires together.  I replaced the toggle switch and have not had a problem lifting or dropping the TV since.

A good source for lots of RV replacement parts is https://www.nwrvsupply.com/.

Hi Joel,

I spoke with Chris at M&M and he was very helpful.  They have worked on them before.  Boxed the lift up and sent it to him to take a look at.  Thanks for the referral.
