Is the entry stair close out controlled by air or electricity. I would like to keep the close out closed but I hesitate if it is controlled by air in case I need to make a hasty exit and find that I have no air.

Rick, If you have no air, you can move it in or out by hand. The solenoid that activates that in in the forward electrical run compartment under the driver's side window. It is mounted on the forward bulkhead. It uses 12 volts to shuttle air to the air cylinder or exhaust. If people do not drain their accessory air tank from time to time, sometimes water will get into that valve/solenoid and lock it up. Fred

thanks again Fred. Is that a separate air compressor or the engine powered compressor? IF separate, where is the compressor located?

Rick, It should be the air tank that supplies the front brakes and all air accessories like air bags, air horn, ect. It should be the green needle on your dash air gauge. That is the one that moves as you drive and the air suspension uses air to achieve level and cycles back and forth between 90psi and 120psi. The engine air compressor is the source. Fred
