Title: Torque Arm Bushings/Arms
Post by: John Demartini on February 16, 2023, 11:27:37 PM
My coach failed state inspection for the torque arm bushings.  These mount the differential to the frame.  Two lower (adjustable) and one upper (fixed).  I'm having a difficult time locating the correct bushings or even replacement arms.

Mike at Beaver Coach Sales offers replacement arms, but they are VERY expensive.  Has anyone been able to locate a current manufacture for these bushings/arms?

2001 Patriot Magnum chassis.

Thanks in advance.

Call and consult Henderson’s.  Motorhome chassis is their focus.

Went to Henderson for a Drag Link and it turned out they had to go to Source Eng. to get it.  We went there directly and saved half the cost.
Hendersons did the diagnosis and such.  They do other work there and are good and dependable.
Source Engineering had answers and parts on hand.

I'm thinking that rather than re-invent the wheel by designing one-off bushings, Beaver may have used off the shelf HD truck parts for the torque rod and/or bushings. All you need is the size of the bushings-see

John
You'll have to check your dimensions but I believe this is the bush your looking for for the rear torque rods
Notice the cross reference for the other manufacturers I believe the torque rods were supplied by Dayton for Beaver
It may also be easier and cheaper to go with International parts numbers.

Hope this helps
