Title: 1989 beaver marquis vdo speedometer

Good morning looking to replace vdo speedometer on my 1989 beaver with 6v92 Detroit is there any special speedometer I need to purchase

When the VDO in my 1991 Marquis quit I bought a GPS speedometer that fit. I had the company set the odometer to the miles that was on the original. If you need the brand I will get that this afternoon.

If u don't mind I figured probably have to adapt something been using waze on my phone

  It is important to have an odometer that reflects the mileage on the coach. If the DMV gets any kind of report that the actual mileage is not accurate, they will label the vehicle as a "TMU" (true mileage unknown). This usually depreciates the value of the coach 50% below the NADA or Bluebook declared value. Fred

My speedometer is from Speedhut. They have an assortment of styles and should have one that matches what you have now.
