Title: Air leak drive front side
Post by: George Frudakis on April 06, 2023, 10:29:38 PM
Hello all
I have an air leak on the driver's front. had all my hydric pistons changed out and still, the right front goes down in two days. Tried soap and water cant find the leak. Does anyone know where a chassis shop that specializes in air leak detection located in Florida?

Thanks as always
George

Hi George,

Do you have an airbag leaking or a hydraulic jack that leaks down? Your post is a little confusing, as you state air leaking and hydraulic repair. Please verify. Thanks.

George,

Your airbag most likely has a small leak, or the air line to it is leaking. There is only one front ride height leveling valve, so don’t think the valve is the problem or both front air bags would be leaking air. One other thing, do you have the SMC hydraulic leveling or air leveling? If air leveling, then your problem could be in the air solenoid block that controls the leveling system. Need to get some soapy water and spray all the components to determine where leak is originating from. Not easy but doable. If not comfortable getting under coach, then take it to a professional. Hope this helps.

Thanks this does help. Will try and see what happens. Do you know of a professional in the Tampa area?

George,

I personally don’t know any one in your area, but hopefully someone will chime in with a suggestion. Good luck.
