My CCI LP Detector is is giving me false alarms. What did you do for a replacement?

Roy,
Amazon shows various LP detectors. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=cci+controls+lp+gas+detector&hvadid=509259206391&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9010468&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=8834348181258004596&hvtargid=kwd-335610659213&hydadcr=22222_9904438&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_6p9uxxdpar_e

Hi Roy,
Is it the kind of detector that shuts off the LP supply to the coach? What is the expiration date stamped on the back of the unit? Fred

Hi Fred it’s a replacement sensor that I received from rebuilder. I can’t find the date I installed it or the the paperwork from the vender. I would like to keep the propane shut off system in place if possible. It’s a CCI Controls LP Gas Detector.

CCI controls is out of business. Safe-T-Alert makes a replacement with the shut off solenoid at the tank. However, I believe it is a combo unit for CO and LP. I think it is available from Amazon for a gazillion dollars!. While at the Beaver Quartzite rally, Lamar's solenoid quit working and he told me to remove it so his stove would work. I think the original technology has since come and gone because there are no manufacturers installing those systems anymore. Just the detector combo. Fred

I replaced all 3 detectors on my 09 Monterey Sunset. Purchased new ones from Amazon selection. Very good selection and prices. RV dealer wanted prices 75% higher than Amazon. Unbelievable! All installed & working fine.
